Meet us in Valencia, Spain from January 21 to January 23! The HiPEAC conference is the premier European forum for experts in computer architecture, programming models, compilers and operating systems for embedded and general-purpose systems.

During this conference we will detail the work accomplished over the course of the TULIPP EU H2020 project. Meet us at the two-day TULIPP tutorial session to discover exciting new features of Maestro, such as the compatibility with the Xilinx SDSoC toolchain.

TULIPP ADAS use case

The tutorial will explore the benefits of using the TULIPP reference platform for the development of a real-time image processing application. In particular, we will focus on how you can speed-up an application and reduce power consumption. Starting from a standalone application, you will:

  • port a complete standalone application to Maestro for better performance and isolation of tasks
  • leverage modern multi-core hardware by using the multithreading features of Maestro
  • offload heavy computing on the Xilinx Zynq FPGA block using the Xilinx SDSoC tools
  • measure the power consumption and execution time of the application easily using the STHEM toolset

The tutorial will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday in Room 4.
